A conference to support the emotional needs of the family caregiver and the healthcare, financial and legal needs of their loved ones. Whether you’re actively caring for a loved one or providing relief and support to a caregiver — The Caring for the Caregiver Conference offers support, resources and information to help caregivers not only make choices about what’s best for their loved ones, but maintain focus on their own well-being.
This year our keynote speaker is Amy Goyer. She is AARP’s national expert on family caregiving, an author, a speaker, a caregiving consultant, and most importantly a family caregiver herself.
The full event includes:
- Morning Panel Discussion facilitated by Eli Lilly and Applegate Elder Law providing practical guidance and information for family caregivers.
- Exhibitors offering information, products and services relevant to the needs of both the caregiver and the person receiving care.
- Luncheon – a delicious sit down lunch will be served to all registered attendees prior to our keynote address.
- Keynote Speaker, Amy Goyer, AARP’s national caregiving expert presents “Choosing to Care”.
Registration and badge pick up will begin at 8:15 a.m., coffee and light breakfast items will be available. The Morning Panel Discussion will start promptly at 8:45 a.m.
